I usually do not post one random photo,
but wait to have a story to share.
However, I think this photo taken today in Valley of the Cross,
says it all,
what a beautiful day in Jerusalem, Israel.
Jerusalem, Israel – what is really happening
This week’s theme was the
Changing Landscapes in Jerusalem, Israel.
After a fire in The Valley of the Cross in July
and a snow storm in December,
a very different landscape is now seen below
The Israel Museum.
Yesterday I was complaining that a 20-year-old photo
was posted showing snow in Jerusalem, Israel.
Then overnight it snowed in Jerusalem,
and snowed
and snowed.
Black and white photos?
No, at times everything looked white and grey.
Lemons were still yellow, frozen lemonade anyone?
Israeli flags were still blue and white,
and at least one cat was out.
The Knesset Building as seen in a lull in the storm,
The Israel Museum could not be seen some times in the storm.
People came out to play and walk in the white stuff.
Nachlaot red roofs were colored white, as was the Valley of the Cross.
When the sky cleared it was a beautiful sight.
Some larger vehicles ventured out.
I wanted snow in Jerusalem,
and we got it!
I got my Jerusalem snow photos, so please share them,
I have had enough snow today for the next 20 years.
