Shabbat Shalom

Usually people look out of those small openings

in the walls of the Old City,

but with a zoom lens we can see inside.

Shabbat Shalom

February 12, 2016February 5, 2019rjstreets

One of the most impressive sights this week,

was the rainbow over the Jerusalem, Israel, streets.

Certainly the largest and brightest I have ever seen,

no photos do it justice, hope it was a good sign.

Shabbat Shalom

February 5, 2016rjstreets

I was in the Old City last night,

as the sun was setting, the sky still blue.

Not as many people around,

but I walked home at night alone, stopping to talk with friends.

These quiet evenings do not make headlines.
