Once in awhile we do get out of Jerusalem, Israel,

and not so far away is the road leading to the Dead Sea.

 Here the marker for sea level is on the right side

and the iconic camel is on the left side of the road.

And the view of the Dead Sea?

Decide for yourself.

Is it  any wonder that so many people from around the world

come to vacation at the Dead Sea?
